Home Education sessions
Introduction
Our Home Ed Groups are long-term Forest School groups, offering fun, exploration and development of skills in the natural environment for children who typically learn from home.
Our relaxed, learner-led philosophy allows children to learn and grow in a nurturing, inclusive, supportive environment... not to mention a whole lot of fun! For general info about Forest School, click here.
About Home Ed sessions
They can choose to learn new skills or develop existing ones, with ropes, campfires, woodland craft, tree climbing, nature connection, tool work, storytelling, shelter building, dens, games and projects ... or choose to take time to relax, connect with nature and themselves, socialise round the campfire, swing in the hammock and climb ladders and just 'be'... or anything in between! There are always plentiful hot drinks and campfire snacks to refuel.
Our qualified and experienced Forest School Level 3 Leader use careful observation and reflection to tailor sessions to each individual's needs, interests and learning styles. Our Leader is Forest School Leadership qualified, fully insured and DBS checked, First Aid and Safeguarding trained. Forest School is a long-term process of regular sessions, it is not a one-off or infrequent session. The cycle of planning, observation, adaptation and review links each session. These termly block sessions benefit children.
Booking Information
Home Ed Group 1 runs on Tuesdays from 9.30 am - 12.00 noon
£30 per child
This is an unaccompanied session, suitable for children happy to be left in our care for the day.

£30 per child

Home Ed Family Sessions run on Fridays from 9.30 am - 11.30 am
£11.99 per child
6-week block or a whole term booking.
A session for Home Educated children and parents/carers.
A family-orientated session where children of all ages can enjoy the woods together.
