Toddler Groups
Introduction
Little Hands Nursery Forest School Toddler Group (LHNFSTG) is
for children from 0-2 years. Parents and Childminders come and join us for a morning of fun and child-led adventure in our wonderful common! Gaining confidence, learning new skills, kindling fires and friendships, all these things happen naturally for every child at a pace that is natural and fun. It’s your weekly sanctuary where you can reconnect, recharge and enjoy your child at play, making memories of childhood to last a lifetime. For general info about Forest School, click here.
Sessions
We are offering these toddler groups every Monday, only during term time and we provide a calm and enjoyable opportunity to go exploring the forest together, families to make friends and sing songs and rhymes. For those who wish to send their child to our nursery, this group provides a gentle, introductory experience, which facilitates children’s transition into our nursery.
Although this group is mainly for children from 1-2 years of age, we are quite flexible and younger or little older siblings are most welcome too.
Younger siblings aged 0-11 months are free as well as accompanying parents and childminder. While a member of staff who is a Level 3 Forest School leader leads the sessions with an assistant, parents/carers remain responsible for their children at all times. We also expect parents to help their children follow the safety rules of the Forest School session.
Booking Information
Our group is suitable for ages 1-2.
Sessions last for 1 1/2 hours and run 10.00 am -11:30 am on Mondays term time.
